CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS

Team Sports West will negotiate a player’s contract to ensure that they receive the best terms possible. We observe recent signings, evaluate your draft or free agent status and analyze the contracts of player’s from previous years to determine what compensation is right for you. We work closely with the NFLPA to ensure that you receive the best contract allowable for your situation. Team Sports West strives to make sure that our clients are in camp on time. This will ensure that you are headed down the right path.

PRE-DRAFT AND CAMP COUNSELING

Team Sports West ensures that our clients will receive the assistance they need to prepare for the Scouting Combines and training camp. It doesn’t matter whether you are a potential first round selection or an un-drafted free agent we provide you with a strength and speed coach to help you perform at your highest level. We help to prepare you mentally for the rigors of the scouting combine and pre-season training camp. We will contact the directors of player personnel and general managers to gauge the status of your draft position.

TAX AND FINANCIAL PLANNING

We offer services in helping you to acquire tax and financial advisors to maximize your income. With the help of the NFLPA, Team Sports West will evaluate, rate and monitor financial planners from the NFLPA’s approved list of advisors, so that our players can feel secure about their investments. Although we do not offer on site tax preparation, we will refer you to a certified personal accountant who will help you in organizing your finances.

ENDORSEMENTS AND PROMOTIONS

The staff of Team Sports West markets players aggressively to try and obtain endorsement agreements. While only a small percentage of players actually acquire endorsement agreements, we do all that we can to maximize your exposure in your hometown, as well as, in the city that your team is located. We develop promotional packages, conduct surveys and develop a Q-rating to determine your marketability. We present our findings to interested corporate sponsors with the intent of landing you an endorsement agreement.
