We recognize our specialized strengths in negotiating NFL contracts and creating marketing opportunities for professional athletes. We also recognize that financial planners, accountants and attorneys are better versed in their respective fields and thus best positioned to provide superior advice to address the full range of a professional athlete’s budgeting, financial planning, legal and tax needs.

Team Sports West assists our clients in building this team of independent experts, with our advisors and full staff available to serve as direct liaisons. We follow established selection criteria that utilizes an in-depth screening process of leading financial and legal experts from throughout the country. From this pool of appointed professionals, our clients select the individuals they feel will best meet their needs based on a series of interviews. The interview process typically takes place in our office, allowing us to serve as non-compensated observers that assure every client’s individual needs are being met.

This integrated approach provides our clients with the convenience and shared focus of a full service team without sacrificing the specialized advice that each team member provides from their professional fields.

Most clients meet with their team of specialists two or three times each year during the off-season. Team Sports West coordinates the team members and all logistical and scheduling requirements according to each client’s request.
